Clinical Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist with 10 years of experience working across a range of settings, including public youth mental health, drug and alcohol, inpatient and outpatient programs, and private practice. I am experienced working with a wide range of issues that can bring people to therapy, including anxiety and mood concerns, identity and self esteem, relationship issues, adjustment to life changes and trauma, personality issues and symptoms of psychosis.

I completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with clinical training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence based approaches including mindfulness based therapies. I have continued to extend my professional development through training and experience in different therapeutic modalities (ACT, DBT, CAT) and I use an integrative approach that is tailored to an individuals’ needs, preferences and goals. I believe that we all have an in-built capacity for growth and that a good therapeutic relationship can greatly support this, helping people make meaningful change in their lives. My approach in therapy is warm, open, collaborative and curious; I aim to create a space where people feel safe and seen so that we can explore together and cultivate more helpful ways of understanding and relating, to self, to others and to the things that challenge us.

I am an accredited clinical psychologist and supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. I currently offer individual counselling for adolescents and adults and professional supervision for registered psychologists.
