Director, In Dialogue Practice
Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist with twenty year’s experience working in community and public mental health services. My interest in supporting people led me to complete a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (2009) and undertake further specialisation as a Cognitive Analytic Therapist. I believe the way we relate to ourselves and others is a powerful determinant of our wellbeing, and that by reflecting on our patterns of relating we can make changes that enable us to live more content, enjoyable and personally meaningful lives.
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA. I have extensive training and experience in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and am an accredited member of ANZACAT. I have worked with adolescents, adults and families with a range of difficulties; anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, psychosis, deliberate self-harm and suicidal thoughts, eating and body image concerns, addiction. I am particularly interested in supporting people with relationship or parenting difficulties, trouble sustaining meaningful roles or healthy lifestyles, managing stress, maintaining confidence or adjusting to change or loss.
At In Dialogue I am available for individual counselling and professional supervision.
