Clinical Psychologist

With over 20 years’ experience working with adolescents and adults, it gives me great joy to witness so much positive change in the face of adversity and suffering. I have a strong interest in helping others make sense of both life long and everyday difficulties.

This desire has led me to training in Cognitive Analytical Therapy. I have also trained in Acceptances and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  From early beginning as an ESL high school teacher in remote Arnhem Land to many years across Forensic settings I have enjoyed the transition to clinical psychology and working with both young people and adults.

It is important for me to create a place of comfort in order for clients to mobilise for change. A strong therapeutic connection is the cornerstone of being able to explore and move away from unhelpful patterns in our relationships and the stuckness we can feel with life’s difficulties.

I am available to complete assessments and provide reports on a range of concerns including ADHD, fitness to work and forensic issues. I help people experiencing mood disorders, complex personality presentations, forensic issues, family and parent/child conflict, work difficulties, eating / body disorders and adjustment concerns.
