I acknowledge the immense courage that it takes to be vulnerable and talk about difficult emotions, relationships or events. My style is guided by respect and compassion.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in public and private mental health, in Australia and overseas. After my formal training in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, I completed a PhD at The University of Western Australia in the field of body image in adolescence. The findings of my research have been presented at national and international Eating Disorders conferences.

As a practitioner, my aim is to support and assist individuals who consult to gain insight into their personal situation and relational patterns, find balance and increased wellbeing, adopt more functional coping mechanisms, become curious about their attitudes, thoughts and behaviours, and ultimately live healthier lives. To achieve this, I utilise an integrative approach combining techniques from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Self-compassion, and Systemic Family Therapy.

Through my work, I actively promote self-discovery, acceptance, and psychological change to address presenting difficulties and sustain therapeutic gains. Psychotherapy to me is a collaborative, respectful and confidential space that provides you with the opportunity to grow internally; this can be both challenging and enjoyable. I acknowledge the immense courage that it takes to be vulnerable and talk about difficult emotions, relationships or events. My style is guided by respect and compassion.

I enjoy working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and can provide psychotherapy in English, Spanish and French.
